PROJECT OVERVIEW

L&K delivered lighting, emergency-lighting and consumer-unit upgrade works at Heathfield Junior School in Twickenham for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

SCOPE OF WORKS

Replaced 152 lights across 8 classrooms, 4 corridors and 3 toilets.
Worked with 10 different fitting types.
Replaced high-level lighting within the school hall using a mobile scaffold tower.
Installed new emergency lighting in every room.
Installed sensor-controlled corridor lighting with no manual switching required.
Upgraded three consumer units with RCBO protection.
Carried out the lighting design.

THE CHALLENGE

Heavy, high-level lighting in the school hall required a mobile scaffold tower to complete the replacement work.

THE WORKS

L&K carried out the lighting design. The works included high-level lighting replacement in the school hall using a mobile scaffold tower, new emergency lighting in every room, sensor-controlled corridor lighting and upgrades to three consumer units with RCBO protection.

PROJECT OUTCOME

The works renewed lighting across the specified classrooms, corridors, toilets and school hall, alongside emergency-lighting and consumer-unit upgrades.
