PROJECT OVERVIEW

L&K delivered a lighting and emergency-lighting upgrade at John Burns Primary School in Battersea for the London Borough of Wandsworth.

SCOPE OF WORKS

  • Replaced 223 lights across every room in the school.

  • Managed 13 different lighting types.

  • Installed new emergency lighting in every room.

  • Replaced all switches.

  • Carried out the lighting design.

THE CHALLENGE

Most term-time work was completed overnight, allowing classrooms to remain in use without disruption the following morning.

THE WORKS

L&K carried out the lighting design before replacing 223 lights across every room in the school, installing new emergency lighting in every room and replacing all switches.

PROJECT OUTCOME

Successful delivery was achieved while the school continued to be used during term time, with lighting, emergency lighting and switches renewed across the school.
